This film tells the story of Simon Leviev whose real name is Shimon Yehuda Hayut, an Israeli con artist who tries to approach women on dating apps.
The Tinder Swindler opens with Cecilie Fjellhoy, a Norwegian woman who works in design. Meeting through the Tinder application, Cecilie is interested and wants to get to know Simon more.
Simon then shows his wealth by taking Cecilie to the facilities of his luxurious hotel and being served upscale food.
Simon tells that he is the prince of the diamond business empire and has one child.
In addition, Cecilie was amazed after being invited by Simon to travel using his private jet.
