Synopsis of Mortal Housewife
Mortal tells the story of a young Norwegian named Eric (Natt Wolff). Eric is spending the night in a tent in the middle of the Norwegian forest.
One night Eric has a bad dream and when he wakes up he finds a nearby tree on fire. Eric then continued his journey but was stopped by a group of teenagers. Eric, angry at being bullied, ends up setting them all on fire using his power.
Eric was then picked up by the police using a bus. He is taken to a room to meet a female psychologist named Christine (Iben Arkelie). Eric became a suspect in the deaths of five people three years ago in a fire incident.
These five people were Eric’s own relatives. Eric is apparently a young man with superhuman strength and Eric’s powers are controlled by his emotions. If his temper worsens then his power will affect the surrounding environment and can even bring disaster to those around him.
Christine is assigned by local authorities to help Eric control his emotions. Unfortunately, there is another party who wants to take Eric and harness the power for a specific purpose. Eric was trying desperately to escape from the pursuit of this party.
