Install QupZilla on Linux, a Lightweight and Fast Open Source Web Browser Application
QupZilla is an app browser QtWebEngine open source light and fast. QupZilla is called an app browser the lightest and least resource consuming compared to apps browser others such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and others.
QupZilla is an app cross platform, Besides being available for various distributions of the GNU/Linux operating system, QupZilla can also be used on various other operating systems such as Windows, MacOS, FreeBSD, Haiku and others.
At first this application was actually developed only for educational purposes, but then over time and began to grow QupZilla has many features and support so it is widely used.
QupZilla is written in Python and PyQt4 bindings when it was first released in December 2010. But now QupZilla has been completely rewritten using C++ language and using Qt frameworks.
QupZilla has functions like an app browser in general that supports the use of tabs, bookmarks, history exploration, as well as a plugins AdBlock which is already available online defaults. In addition to AdBlock, QupZilla also has many available plugins others such as GreaseMonkey, Mouse Gesture, Access Keys Navigation and others.
You can also access and manage bookmarks and history easily using only a single page on QupZilla, QupZilla also supports streaming from PulseAudio and many other features on QupZilla.
How to Install QupZilla on Linux
If you are using a distribution of Ubuntu, Debian and their derivatives, you can directly install QupZilla because it is available online default on repositories, you can install it by using the following command in Terminal:
sudo apt-get install qupzilla
Then wait for the installation process to complete and succeed.
But unfortunately QupZilla is available on official repository by default it is not the latest version of QupZilla.
