How to Transfer Gopay to Shopeepay
If everything is ready, you can now follow the steps below!
1. Open the Shopee application, click the Shopeepay menu > fill in the balance > then select “bank transfer”
First, we need to get a Shopeepay VA number so we can send balances from OY! Indonesia.
So the user enters the Shopee application and enters the “Shopeepay” menu. Then click the “Fill in Balance” and “Bank Transfer” menus. Select Bank Mandiri in the “Bank Transfer” column and click “Confirm”.
2. Copy Bank Mandiri VA Number
After that, you will get a Mandiri VA number from Shopeepay. Press the “Copy” button next to the VA number to copy the number. This number will be used to store your Shopeepay balance later. Then proceed to the next step.
3. Open OY! Indonesia
After completing the Shopee VA number, try opening the OY application first! Indonesia. Click the “Transfer” menu in the app. Then there will be 2 transfer options on the screen, namely “local transfer” and “international transfer”. Select the “Local Transfer” menu.
4. Click the “Add New Recipient” menu
Click “Recipient Bank” to specify a new beneficiary bank. Because we use Bank Mandiri VA numbers to accommodate Shopeepay balances, we chose Bank Mandiri.
Then “paste / paste” the copied VA number on the Shopeepay VA number page. If there is a problem with entering the VA number, you can also enter the number 893 manually (then continue using your mobile number registered with Shopeepay.
Select “Finish” and wait for a green notification list to appear indicating that the VA number you entered is correct. Then click “Continue”.
5. Go to Transfer Details Page
After pressing the “Continue” button, you will enter the “Transfer Details” page. There, you have the opportunity to make sure that the destination Shopeepay VA number is correct. Then fill in the “Amount” column or the amount of the balance you want to transfer. For example, Rp. 100,000.
The system will also ask you to select a “funding source” or link a bank account. Select the bank account you have. For example Bank Mandiri / BCA, then select Bank Mandiri / BCA as your source of funds, and click “Continue”.
Then you need to select a transaction category and select an available category. Next, click “Continue.”
6. Go to the “Select Transfer Method” page
In general, OY! There are 3 transfer methods in Indonesia, namely: virtual account, manual transfer and debit card.
However, each bank may provide a different transfer method. Therefore, to be faster, simpler and free, you just need to choose the virtual account method.
7. Confirm “Transfer Details”
After that, go to the confirmation page for “Transfer Details”. Press the “Copy” menu next to the VA number listed in the old “Transfer to Virtual Account”.
This is the VA number that you need to enter into the Gopay transfer system later. For this, you have 3 hours to complete the transaction. If after 3 hours, the VA number is no longer valid, you must repeat the steps above.
8. Open the Gojek Application and Enter the “Payment” Menu
Now is the time for you to open the Gojek / Gopay application and enter the payment menu. In the “Pay and Send” menu, select the “To Bank Account” menu.
9. Click “Instant Transfer to New Account”
Then click “Instant transfer to new account” and select the destination bank (payee). The bank selected is the bank you use in OY! Indonesia.
For example, if you have used Bank BCA, choose Bank BCA. In the “Account” column, enter the VA number you copied in OY! Indonesia.
Click “Verify”, if the VA number is correct, click “Continue”. Make sure the name of the intended BCA bank account holder is PT Dompet Harapan Bangsa.
10. Determine the Transfer Amount
Then, you must specify the number of transfers to be completed. Enter the same nominal amount as when you entered the transfer amount in OY! Indonesia.
In the past, in OY, you had to enter a nominal Rp. even in Gopay with 20,000. After confirming, click “Continue” and “Confirm”.
11. Enter PIN or Fingerprint Verification
You will be directed to the PIN/fingerprint verification page. Here you need to enter your PIN code or fingerprint. If the PIN is correct, the Gopay balance will be automatically transferred to Shopeepay according to the name you specified.
Intermediary Application, How to Transfer Gopay to Shopeepay
Except OY! Indonesia, you can actually use other similar applications. Here are some alternative transfer applications that you can use, for example:
1. Flip
Except in Indonesia, you can use flip to transfer Gopay to Shopeepay. Flip is an app that bridges interbank transfers with no management fees (free).
There is no need to worry about legality, because even though it is not a Flip Bank, it has already received permission from Bank Indonesia.
However, there is a maximum transmission limit of Rp. 5000000. If it exceeds, a management fee of Rp. 2500/transaction.
In addition, Flip currently only provides free interbank transfer services for 16 banks in Indonesia, during the nominal transfer process, you will get a unique 3-digit code. Now this 3-digit number is stored as a deposit, so it can be withdrawn later when it reaches Rp. 10,000.

Have you heard of the neu app? This app is also an interbank transfer app similar to OY! Indonesian and flip. Through the neu application, you will also get a 3 digit number in the transfer transaction. However, this unique 3-digit code when transferring money is not stored as a deposit, but as a service fee.
You can use the neutransfer menu to transfer your Gopay balance to Shopeepay via the neu app. Several banks can be used for this service, such as BCA, BNI, BRI, Mandiri, Digibank, Jenius, etc.
Apart from bank transfers, neu also provides budgeting tools that can help you manage your finances. This app can now be downloaded from the Google Play Store or App Store.
3. FUND
You may already be familiar with the DANA application. If you don’t have the three applications above, you can use the DANA e-Wallet application. You can also try to use it as an intermediary for Gopay to Shopeepay transfers. DANA also provides free interbank transfer services up to 10 times / month.
