The first way to transfer XL credit is by sending SMS to 168. The SMS format is as follows “Share (SPASI) Destination Number (SPASI) Nominal pulse”, sent without quotes. For more details, you can follow these steps:
- Open the SMS application on your cellphone
- Click the (+) sign to create a new SMS
- In the destination column, fill with 168
- In the text field, fill with Share (SPASI) Destination Number (SPASI) Nominal pulse. So if you want to send credit to the number 08123333XXXX with a nominal value of 100,000 rupiah, the format is as follows “FOR 08123333XXXX 10000”. Send without quotes to 168.
- Then there will be an SMS notification in the form of questions related to the transfer. Type “Y” without the quotes in the reply and send field.
- If the credit transfer process is successful, there will be a follow-up notification from the 168 party via SMS.
In addition to using the SMS 168 method, there are also other ways you can send credit to colleagues. The trick is with the method below.
- Open the SMS application on your cellphone and create a new SMS
- Fill in the SMS destination number with the number of your partner you want to send credit to
- In the text field, fill it with the following format “Share (SPACE) Total Credit”
- Then you will be notified about the credit transfer. Just type “Y” to continue.
- If the transfer is successful, there will be an immediate notification on your cellphone via SMS.

XL Credit Transfer with Dial Feature
In addition to using the SMS method, you can also use the dial method. How to transfer XL credit this one is no less easy than the SMS method that we have described in the features above. Follow the steps below for more details:
- First open the call menu on your cellphone
- Type dial *123*8461# then press call. Make sure you call it with your XL SIM card.
- Next you will be taken to a new dialog field. Select number 4 (Share Credit) to continue.
- After selecting number 4 you will be asked to enter transfer destination number. Fill in the destination number carefully. Do not be Wrong.
- There will be a special notification that displays the transfer destination number, then fill in the transfer nominal below it.
- If you have chosen YES. Wait a moment and you will get a notification whether the transfer process was successful or not.
In addition to using the dial above, you can also use other dials to transfer credit on your smartphone. How to transfer XL credit with other dials are as follows:
- Open the call menu on your phone
- Enter dial *123*168#
- There will be a direct notification regarding the transfer of credit, you will be asked to enter the destination number.
- insert destination number and select continue.

- Select further.
- If the transaction is successful, there will be further notification from XL.

There are several terms and conditions that you must fulfill when you want to transfer credit to colleagues. First, this transaction can only be done a maximum of once per day. This applies to both the recipient and the sender of credit.
The active period of the recipient’s card will not increase even though he gets the nominal transfer from you. So make sure to check the recipient’s active period and grace period before you transfer this credit.
