Xenta OS, New Linux Distro from Indonesia Based on Linux Mint
Xenta OS is a new Linux distribution from Indonesia based on Linux Mint. The presence of Xenta OS enlivens the line of Linux distributions originating from Indonesia, previously there were BlankOn, GrombyangOS, DracOS and others.
Xenta OS was created by Dindin Hernawan and actively developed by the Xenta OS development team which consists of several parts, the Xenta OS development team is chaired by Dindin Hernawan directly.
Dindin Hernawan himself admitted working on Xenta OS as a software project hobby. Even though as hobby, Xenta OS was developed quite seriously. Xenta OS was seriously developed to become an alternative operating system for users, especially users in Indonesia.
This seriousness can be seen from the Xenta OS itself which is gradually growing. Xenta OS has released Xenta 3 times so far. The latest version of Xenta OS today is Xenta OS 1.3.2 which has the code name “Arok”.
Xenta OS 1.3.2 is available in two versions Desktop Environment namely Cinnamon and Xfce. Xenta OS with Cinnamon Desktop Environment is available in two architectures namely 32 bit and 64 bit.
But unfortunately if you are a 64-bit Xfce user, currently Xenta OS in the new Xfce edition is available in 32-bit architecture. Dindin Hernawan as leader developer admits a version with a 64 bit architecture is still in development and will be released later.
Xenta OS 1.3.2 is based on Linux Mint 18.1. This version uses Linux kernel 4.4.0-53 and can be downloadedupdates. Although based on Linux Mint, Xenta OS prefers to make repository his own instead of using repository belongs to Linux Mint.

Have a nice look elegant with a basic theme of black with a combination of blue, and has a user interface Intuitive and user-friendly as typical of Linux Mint, Xenta OS is easy to use, even for novice users who are new to Linux.
From the application side, Xenta OS is default many applications have been installed for various daily needs, such as office equipment applications, internet equipment, design applications, and utilities needed for daily needs.

If you need additional applications, you can install them through the Xenta Software Center. Because Xenta OS is based on Linux Mint, you can use all the applications that can run on Linux Mint. You don’t have to be afraid about the app.

You can install Xenta OS with the following minimum system requirements:
> Minimum 512 MB RAM (1GB recommended for more comfortable use).
> Minimum 9GB of storage space (20GB recommended).
> 1024×768 . resolution
Notes:
> 64-bit ISO can beboot with BIOS or UEFI.
> 32-bit ISO can only beboot with BIOS.
As a new distribution, Xenta OS may have some drawbacks and some bugs when used on your device. You can report it if you find bugs when using it on your device.
