1. Nominal Sentence

3. Numerical Sentences
Numerical sentences are sentences with a single pattern whose predicate is a number word. Like the sentence, the University is decades old. The subject is University and the predicate is decades old. Other examples such as:
- It took hours of travel to get to the destination

4. Verbal Sentences
Verbal sentences are sentences with a single pattern whose predicate is a verb. Like the sentence, Rehan takes a cake from the cupboard. The subject is Andi and the predicate is to take while the word “cake” is an object and the word “in the cupboard” is an explanation. Other examples such as:

5. Prepositional Sentences
A prepositional sentence is a sentence with a single pattern whose predicate is a prepositional preposition. Like the sentence, the book is on Dad’s desk. The subject is the book and the predicate is above, while the word “Father’s desk” is an explanation. The following example:
