Tap and hold the profile photo of the account whose story you want to deactivate. Select Mute then Mute Story. Repeat this step if you want to do it on another account.
Use the Close Friends Feature
Instagram provides a Close Friends feature that allows you to share stories only with those close to you. To do this, Add people close to you like family or Close Friends to your Close Friends list. To do this, tap the Profile icon at the bottom right. Then tap on the three-line icon at the top. After that tap Settings and enter privacy. Select Close Friends. Then Add the person you want to add to your Close Friends list.
Once you have a Close Friends list, you can create Stories that can be shared specifically with that list. People on your Close Friends list will see a green ring on your profile photo when you share a story with Close Friends. But they couldn’t see anyone other than the one on the list.
Secret Ways to Make Instagram So Attractive, Limit or Block Accounts
Social media such as Instagram can be used by anyone for free. This makes people who use it more diverse. You as a user often encounter people who are quite annoying. If yes, then the solution is to use Limit or Block Account. If you use the Restricted feature, comments from accounts you’ve restricted won’t appear in your posts until you approve them. Also, they can’t see you if you’re online and you won’t get a notification if they comment on your post. To enable the Limit feature, visit the profile of an account you don’t like. Tap the menu with the 3 dots symbol at the top right. Then select Restrict. Don’t worry, people won’t know if you do this to their account.
How about the Blocking feature? Doing this will prevent the blocked account from interacting with your posts. Also, if that person visits your Instagram page, they will see a blank Instagram. The Blocking feature can be done in the same way as the Restrict feature. It’s just that at the last stage you choose Blocking.
