Six American Aircraft Combat Exercise In Riau Sky – The Indonesian Air Force and the United States Air Force held a joint exercise at Roesmin Nurjadin Air Base, Pekanbaru Riau;
The joint exercise, codenamed kopw s2022a, involved a number of F-16 fighter planes from both countries, this two-country exercise involved six F16 aircraft from the US Airforce from the US Pacific Air Force unit based in Mizawa, Japan.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian Air Force was also strengthened by aircraft and personnel from Iswahyudi’s three squadrons for training with the Indonesian Air Force.
With the United States Air Force taking place from today Monday, June 14 to 24-06-2022, according to the commander of the 6th Wing of the Air Force Base, Colonel roesmin nurjadin.
Airman Jajang Setiawan said the exercise focused on combat exercises in the air where the Indonesian Air Force would exchange lessons with the more experienced American air force.
