Old Nintendo Games

Nintendo has now launched the NES Classic Edition as an update from the old Nintendo version. This new version is smaller in size like modern console games. But keep in mind, Nintendo games are not only available for console versions. Nintendo also launched an android version of the game for some of its games. The android version itself is already available on the Play store and can be downloaded via cellphones, although not all of them are from Nintendo. The following are old school Nintendo games that can be downloaded via the Play store:

1. Super Mario Bros

The very famous old school nintendo game is Super Mario Bros. This game was designed by Shigeru Miyamoto, Takeshi Tezuka and Koji Kondo. Super Mario was launched by the NES in 1985 with several series. The last series is Super Mario series 3 which was launched 3 years after the first and second series.

Nintendo has launched the Android version of Super Mario and can be downloaded on the Play Store. The Android version of Super Mario has 3 versions of the game, namely Mario Kart Tour, Super Mario Run and Dr. Mario Word. Several similar games are also available on Play Store launched by other companies.

2. Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong is an old nintendo game that predates Super Mario Bros. The designer of this game is Shigeru Miyamoto who is also one of the designers of the Super Mario game. This arcade action game has another version, namely Donkey Kong Jr, which can be played by 2 people.

Nintendo still hasn’t launched this game in android version, but in the Play Store there are a lot of similar games. Other versions of the Donkey Kong game that can be found on the Play Store are classic kong, Mongkey Dongkey, Banana Kong and many others. These games were developed by other game developers, but not much different from the old versions.

3. Ballon Fight

Ballon fight was launched by NES in 1986 with the category action adventure game. This game can be played by two people. Ballon Fight was designed by Yoshio Sakamoto who is also the designer of the Metroid, WarioWare and Rhythm Heaven series.

The Ballon fight game has also not been released on the Play store by Nintendo, although there are already many similar games on the Play Store. These games include Sky Ballon fight, Ballon Fighting, Ballon Trip and others. The Play Store version of Ballon Fight has lighter colors and more diverse designs.

4. Ice Climbers

Nintendo released the game Ice climber in 1985. This game is the result of another design from Shigeru Miyamoto and his friends. Ice climber is categorized in an arcade action game and can be played by 2 people.

The android version of this game is not launched by Nintendo, but by other game developers. The new version of the game has some modifications although it does not discard the original version. Arcade Ice Climber is another version of this game which can be downloaded on Play Store.

5. Excitebike

Excitebike is an old Nintendo game that is quite different from the previous games. This game which is included in the racing sport category was released by the NES in 1985. Excitebike and Extrime Bike are excitebike-like games developed by other developers and can be downloaded on the Play Store.

NES is better known as Famicom in Japan because it was first released in Japan. The emergence of the old school Nintendo game on the Play Store certainly makes gamers happy. Gamers no longer need to buy console games if they want to play old school games that were famous in their era.
