Mad Max Fury Road Review
The story in the latest Mad Max film has a wider conflict, not only war and revenge between gangs, Mad Max: Fury Road describes the chaos of the world after nuclear war. There are all kinds of conflicts there, including society, natural resource crises, wars between groups, and evil rulers.
From the trailer, I initially thought this film would contain more fictional elements, but in fact it is not. Because “Mad Max: Fury Road” is actually a very meaningful post-apocalyptic film. Thankfully, it’s clear that what’s shown in the film is actually a lot crazier than the trailer.
The audience will be nervous from the beginning of the film and will not stop until the end of the film. Max who runs off with Frioza is then chased by Joe Immortal, which makes us feel like the whole movie is after us. Of course the fierce battle was still going on, as if there was no time to catch my breath.
Little dialogue, lots of action, especially chases. The character development in this film is also quite depicting a very hard life. Nuclear radiation pollution, dry land, lack of food and water supplies have brought everyone back to a savage life.
However, Max’s role in this film doesn’t seem too important. For some reason, I myself feel that Furiosa’s story is actually more dominant than Max’s. The filmmakers are most likely hoping to continue the new “Mad Max” through several sequels. Because many still doubt the identity of the “new” Max.
