Install Pitivi through the Official Repository on Ubuntu and its Derivatives

sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install pitivi
Then wait for the update and installation process to complete.

Install the latest version of Pitivi on Linux using Flatpak

Enter the steps of the commands one by one, wait for the process of each step to complete and succeed.
If you have finished it. Try repeating the Pitivi installation steps via Flatpak as before or by using the following command:
flatpak install --user http://flatpak.pitivi.org/pitivi.flatpakref
Then wait for the Pitivi installation process using Flatpak to finish.

How to Update the Latest Pitivi Using Flatpak
If you installed Pitivi using Flatpak and want to update Pitivi if the latest version of Pitivi is available.
You can update Pitivi by entering the following command in Terminal:
flatpak --user update org.pitivi.Pitivi
If a new version is available, the latest version of Pitivi will be downloaded and updated. Wait for the process updates it to completion.
