Increase Your Working Time Productivity Using the GNOME Pomodoro App
What is Pomodoro?
Pomodoro is a time management technique invented by Francesco Corillo in 1992. The Pomodoro technique breaks down working time into several sessions that are 25 minutes long. With this technique, you can work more effectively.
You will work within 25 minutes in each session, in those 25 minutes you have to work with focus without needing to think about other things. After the 25 minutes are up, you have 5 minutes to take a break to refresh your mind and then resume work after the break is over. Every 4×25 minutes, you will have a longer break, which is 15 minutes.
Actually you can adjust these times according to the time you need and you think are effective. It’s just that these times are standard times, 25 minutes for work is considered the most ideal time because it’s not too long and not too short, as well as 5 minutes of rest time and 15 minutes of long rest time.
This technique is widely used by people to manage their work time more effectively. To help you use this technique of managing time, you can use the applications available for Smartphone or Desktops.
On Linux itself, you can use an application from GNOME called GNOME Pomodoro.
