Yesterday I saw a youtube video that shared tools for destroying cellphones. I could not believe it, therefore now I want to prove it myself.
Reportedly this tool is able to damage the cellphone by sending a virus through the number used. But is it true?
I will discuss thoroughly from how to install to termux, operation, to see the contents of the code in the script.

What are HP destroying tools?
The tool for destroying cellphones is a termux script that has a function to make cellphones problematic, for example lags, blanks and even boot loops.
This tool works by sending files to the target cell phone number of the destruction.
Because it was talked about a lot, this tool had gone viral. So a lot of people install and fork (copy) their github repos.
So far, 56 users have forked. You can check the github link.
Many people also post that they have damaged someone’s cellphone with this tool.
But does the tool really work or is it just a hoax?
Let’s first install it into termux to find out the truth.
How to install hp destroyer tools
First, please prepare the termux application. You can download it from playstore.
Second, clone tools from the justahackers github repo.
Before cloning, you must first install packages and modules so that no errors occur.
How to open the termux application then write the following command:
pkg install git python2
Then enter the command again:
pip2 install requests
Finally enter the clone command like this:
git clone https://github.com/justahackers/perusak
At this point, the destructive script has been installed. Press ls to see the result.
Now we proceed to the operation process.
How to run a cellphone destroyer script
1. Open the folder created by the clone tool destroyer
How to type the following command:
cd perusak
The malware script only has 2 files, namely readme.md and destroyer.py.
2. Run the destroyer.py . file
In order for the script to run, you must execute the main file, which is destroyer.py.
How to execute it can use this command:
python2 perusak.py
The script will run and display the author information. In addition there is also other information such as whatsapp numbers, github accounts and youtube channels.
3. Enter the cell number of the target of the destruction
Writing numbers must use the prefix 08 and must be an Indonesian number. Then press enter when finished writing.
Out of curiosity, I wrote down my own number as the target.

4. Wait for the delivery process
At this stage we have to wait for the delivery process until the target cellphone is down. Therefore the termux application must keep running.
According to the author, “if it fails, maybe the number of submissions is not large enough. Because it’s similar to DDOS, the more it works.”
Well, this process is what makes me curious. Is it true that the target cellphone will be damaged or what?
What happened to the delivery target’s cellphone?
In order to know for sure what happened, I targeted my own number. So on the other hand, I listed my number as the target.
After I wait for the delivery process from the first delivery to 100, there haven’t been any problems with my android. Everything is still smooth and normal.
Had time to think, “is this just a loop, huh?”.
In order not to be curious, let’s take a look at the contents of this malicious script to see if it’s a loop or not.
Fill in the code in the cellphone destroyer script
The owner of the justhackers github account provides encryption for the cellphone destroyer script. Therefore I have to open it so that I can read the code easily.
It just so happened that there was a youtube channel that had unpacked the contents of the code in the destructive script. So I just look at it.

After reading the code, I found a function with the name “def lop”.
So it can be concluded that the actual cellphone destroying tool is a hoax, the reason is because there is a loop function in the code. That means the notification “the virus has been sent to number 08xx” is the result of a loop.

And see the results, whether something happened to your cellphone or not.
