A free fire guest account is a free fire game account that has not been associated with other accounts such as facebook, google, and vk. That means, the account does not yet have a login method, so it is very dangerous if it is deleted or lost.
Although it can be transferred to another cellphone, but based on the fact, a lot of players have lost their guest account. The cause is:
- The free fire folder in the storage is deleted
- Clean app data
- Doing logout
- Uninstall and reinstall the free fire application
Why should I take the guest account back?
Usually the missing guest account is the account that will be used as the main account and includes the sultan because it has many items and characters. So that even if it is lost, the player will take his guest free fire account in any way.
Well, in this post I will share how to restore a free fire guest account using Android. Here are the steps.
Step 1: restore the guest.dat file
Based on the explanation from the free fire help site, the free fire guest account is stored in the cellphone storage and is open on the Garena server. So if the guest account is lost, the free fire customer service cannot help restore it.

Unlike the ff account hack case, CS can still help restore it by sending data to the help page.
The guest.dat file is stored on the internal storage in the com.garena.mdsk folder. If the guest account is lost, then the cause is that the guest.dat file is deleted or replaced with a new file.

How to restore guest.dat file?
Especially for Vivo cellphone users, you can go through the trash folder to return the guest.dat file to the original folder.
The trick is to enter the file manager and then select the recycle container folder. In this folder stored files that have been previously deleted, the same as the recycle bin on the computer.

I’ve tried it on the vivo v19 cellphone and for other cellphone brands, please adjust.
Step 2: Create a new folder com.garena.msdk in internal storage
Go to file manager then go to internal storage and create a new folder named com.garena.mdsk. Next, move the guest.dat file to that folder.
If the folder already exists, then delete all the contents of the files in it and then move the previous guest.dat file to that folder.
Remember! must be on internal storage, not sdcard.
Step 3: Allow free fire app to access storage
This is the most important step. First allow the free fire application to access the storage before running it.
The method:
- Go to phone settings.
- Select manage apps.
- Look for free fire applications.
- Enable storage access permissions.
If you run the free fire application before activating storage access permission, the guest account will not return because the free fire system cannot read the cellphone storage.
Do not let you give permission from the pop-up that appears when running the free fire application. Because doing so will replace the old guest.dat file with the new one.
Automatically the previous guest.dat file will be overwritten and lost again. So be careful.
Well, now you know 3 easy steps to restore a free fire guest account. Please try it and good luck.
This tutorial is the same as moving the guest ff account to another cellphone. The reason is because they both need the guest.dat file.
For those who are still having trouble, please write the problem in the comments column.
