This operating system was developed by developers from India since 2022 until now. You could say primeOS is quite new when compared to other Android operating systems such as PhoenixOS, remix OS, and others. How to Install Prime OS Dual Boot Windows
1. How to Install PrimeOS Using the Installer.exe File
In the latest update, the developer has released the PrimeOS installer file for 64-bit and 32-bit UEFI windows. So you can install it in dual boot along with Windows. This method is highly recommended because it is easy. Here are the steps.
- Please download the installer via the official link (here)
- Run the exe program that you downloaded earlier, then select which drive you want to use for the PrimeOS partition.
- Enter the size of the space in MB for the new PrimeOS partition.
- Leave it until the installation process is complete, then click continue and press restart
- The system will restart and the installation process will begin.
- You will find boot menus for PrimeOS and Windows. Select PrimeOS.
- Finished.
Notes: There are 2 versions of prime os namely Mainline and Classic. To determine which one is suitable for the laptop you are using, you need to know when the laptop was produced or what year it was released.
If before 2022 please install that PrimeOS Classic Examples of suitable cpu are Intel Core i 3rd gen or below, Intel Pentium dual core, Intel Pentium G620, AMD A6 4400 etc. For windows or 32 bit computers, it is recommended to use the classic version.
Meanwhile, if your computer or laptop is after 2022 please use it PrimeOS Mainline example cpu that fits Intel Core i 4th gen or above or Intel Celeron N3350, AMD A8 7410 etc.

2. How to Install PrimeOS ISO File With Rufus
For the second method, you have to download the iso file (here).
Next to install PrimeOS on HDD/SSD, first create a new partition for PrimeOS (minimum recommended size is 16GB).
Open disk management through windows window by pressing Windows keyboard + R then type diskmgmt.msc

Right click on the drive you want to partition – select shrink volume

If you have, please enter the size of the space in MB, then select Shrink

Rename the drive by following the steps as in the image below




After finishing creating a new partition like the steps above, now we have to create a bootable PrimeOS usb with Rufus.
Install the Rufus application on the computer via the link (here)
Prepare a Flashdisk or USB Drive, misterhidayat.blogspot.com recommend using a USB drive with
high speed and a minimum size of 8GB or greater.
To flash PrimeOS to a USB drive, plug the USB drive into the computer and run Rufus.
Now select the PrimeOS iso file that you downloaded, press the button START to start the flashing process.
If you have left the usb drive connected to the computer
Turn off the computer and then turn it on by pressing esc or F12, depending on the device used and then selecting the PrimeOS USB as the main boot.

Select the “Android-x86 Installation” option from the GRUB menu.

There are several partition options, select the new primeOS partition drive

In “choose file system”, please select ext4

Please select Yes to format the drive.

Next there will be a warning whether you want to install EFI GRUB, select Yes.

If a dialog box appears whether you want to install System as R/W (Read/Write), select Yesso that you can get OTA updates if there are updates.

Select Reboot and unplug the usb drive from the computer

Finished.
