2. Own Android that forgot the pattern and tried to force unlock it

How to find out someone else’s cellphone screen lock pattern or pin

The way it works is that we will record android screen activity, then make the target enter the pattern or pin. Next, we look at the recording to get the pattern or pin used.

In this case, you must be able to take over the target cellphone first.

How do you do it, the cellphone is locked?

First ask the target to open the lock with the reason you want to ask for a song or something.

Second enable screen recorder. If you don’t have the target phone, you download it first or just send the file (if you have one).

Finally, all you have to do is activate the screen recorder and ask the target to unlock the screen again.

Easy isn’t it, now it’s your turn to try. Or even confused about what recording application to use.

Use screen recorder

In this case I use the AZ recorder screen recorder and it has been set so that it can record even when the screen is off.

Please download the application first in the playstore.

For settings to keep it running even though the screen is off, just adjust it with the following settings.

Grant all app permissions (autostart, popup show, lock screen and run in background). But for the notification menu must be disabled. All of these menus are in the settings.

Activate the az recorder control option as shown below

This setting is only to disguise the az recorder application so that it is not visible when recording.

Record screen in pattern input activity

Launch the az recorder by clicking on the floating camera icon and selecting record video.

When the recorder is running, press the home button then turn off the cellphone screen and turn it back on. Automatically active screen lock.

Next ask the target to unlock the screen and when it opens he will only see the home screen of his phone (nothing strange).

Finally, we just need to stop the screen recorder by double-clicking on the top right corner of the phone screen. This is the invisible magic button of the AZ recorder.

View the recording to find out the screen lock pattern used

The recorded results are in the AZ recorder free folder in the internal storage. Or for quick access, just open the gallery.

If the file manager and gallery are locked, you can see the video results from the az recorder directly.

The method:
Click the az recorder app and click the floating video icon again. Then select the settings icon (gear) and swipe right (video tab)

That’s where all the recordings will be stored.

Remove traces

Remember, after seeing the recording, don’t forget to delete it so the target doesn’t suspect. And also the az recorder application if it is no longer used.

After knowing the pattern or pinya, don’t immediately practice it in front of the person. But pretend you don’t know

When the target is off guard, take the cellphone and unlock it. Then you just do what you want.

For example, installing a backdoor or spy applications and the like.

Is there any other way besides using a screen recorder?

Of course, you can use a google account. This method can also be applied to the second situation, namely we forget the pattern or pin used.

The most important thing in this method is that the google account that will be used must be embedded / already logged in on the cellphone that will be unlocked.

What if not?

To unlock someone else’s lock, you can first log in from their cellphone.

Or if you want to open your own locked cellphone then you have to use another way, namely factory reset. I will write later below.

Okay back to the problem of unlocking with a google account.

The work step is to enter as many wrong patterns / pins as possible. So that later the forgot password/forgot pattern option will appear. From that option, you login using the Google account on the cellphone.

1. Enter the original pattern or pin until the forgot password option appears
   
2. Click the forgot password option and enter google account login data
   
3. The cellphone will automatically enter the screen lock settings
   
4. Select the none option so that the screen lock disappears

To be able to log in to a Google account, an internet connection must be active.

With this you will automatically be able to open patterns and pins. But the screen lock will also disappear/disable.

Internet connection is important in this method. And the case that often happens is that the cellphone is locked but the data/wifi is not active. Obviously this won’t work because it can’t login.

The thing to do in this case is to enable data or wifi from the notification bar (drag the screen from top to bottom).

When the cellphone screen is locked, there are only 2 options, namely emergency calls and returning. Of course the option to choose is an emergency call.

Then, how?

First select the emergency call option and dial 911.

Second when it rings, quickly drag the screen from top to bottom and click the data/wifi icon to activate the internet connection.

How to unlock a cellphone pattern lock with a factory reset

Factory reset is to return android to its factory state. This means that all application data, files and everything will be lost except the default application.

So please consider before doing a factory reset.

This method can be done directly from your phone or computer. From a cellphone it is called a hard reset and from a computer it is often called a re-flash.

I will give tutorials of both.

The first is to hard reset the phone.

1. Turn off the phone and enter the boot menu. How to press the power button and volume down at the same time. If that doesn’t work, try to find a way to boot according to your cellphone.
2. Select the wipe cache option. Use volume button to swipe and power button for Ok
3. Then select the wipe data option again
4. Finally, look for the reboot now option to revive your cellphone

After successfully doing a hard reset, you have to do what was done when you opened the cellphone for the first time.

The second flash from the computer.

This method is a bit complicated, you should take it to the cellphone counter to make it easier. But if you want to try it yourself, I’ll explain briefly.

What you have to prepare is the flash tool and stock ROM from the cellphone that you are using. Flash tools and stock roms for each cellphone are different, so just look for the right one.

Next, connect the phone to the computer with a USB cable. Also make sure the cellphone is in the boot flash menu (press volume up + power together).

The last step is to run the flash tool from the computer and start the flash process again.

The flash process is indeed a bit difficult for beginners, but there are also other ways that can be done, namely with the Android device manager.

Unlock your phone with Android Device Manager (ADM)

Updates! This method no longer works because the ADM web no longer exists. Another alternative is to use the find my mobile web from Samsung.

This method is the same as flash, which means you have to use a computer. But ADM will not delete any data, so Android will still be as before.

How ADM works also uses a google account to unlock. It’s just that the login must be in web admin from a computer. When it is connected then look for options to unlock.

Here’s how to use it:

1. Open Android Device Manager Web via PC/Smartphone device
2. Then enter / Login using a Google account that is already connected to a locked cellphone
3. After that, select the locked device and select “Lock”
4. Then the “New Lock Screen” window will appear, then please enter the new password + password and click “Lock” again
5. If successful, a confirmation will appear under the buttons such as Ring, Lock and Erase
6. Now open the locked smartphone and enter the password + the password you created earlier

ADM is a method that relies on the help of websites, it is the same as find my mobile from samsung. The difference is that the one used to login is a Samsung account, not a Google account.

Remember, friends! I use a Samsung account. So a locked cellphone must also be logged in with that account. Next, access the find my mobile web from the computer.

2. Then log in using a Samsung account that is connected to your locked Samsung cellphone
3. If on the left side of the page there is your name, it means you have successfully logged in or have been connected
4. After that, select “Unlock My Screen” and a notification will appear if your Samsung cellphone has been successfully opened
