Gran Turismo 7 supports cross-platform features
But it’s not complete without information from Sony’s other well-known IP – Gran Turismo. Luckily, the head of PlayStation Studios shared the latest information regarding this racing franchise.
Hulst confirmed that the latest series of Gran Turismo will support cross-platform features. Along with this, he also confirmed that Gran Turismo 7 will also be available on PlayStation 4 upon release.

Furthermore, he also said that Gran Turismo 7 will also still be released as planned next year without a definite release date. Previously, Sony itself had decided to postpone the release of the game to 2022.
The reason Sony still attaches great importance to the PlayStation 4 is of course because they have around 110 million users at the moment. They certainly didn’t just leave the PS4 owner just like that.
In addition to Gran Turismo 7, other next-gen games that will visit the PlayStation 4 when released later are Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok. Regardless, Gran Turismo 7 is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 next year.
