Easy Ways to Uninstall and Reinstall Google Play Store – Google Play Store is a very useful app for Android users. There you can download apps, games, books and so on. Of course it can lighten a lot of work and fulfill our wishes. Even so, there are Android users who have problems with this application, so they can uninstall and reinstall Google Play or just uninstall it. Every user has their reasons and of course the freedom to do so.
The common reason found why users want to uninstall Google Play Store is because they are experiencing a problem/error in this software application so that they cannot download the application or update the application. If clearing cache and clearing data can’t solve the problem, maybe uninstalling and then reinstalling can solve the problem.
By default Google Play Store is embedded in system apps so it is not possible to remove them unless your smartphone is rooted. If your smartphone is not rooted, what you can probably do is hide or disable the app. This means that this method does not actually uninstall the Google Play Store because it can still be lag-enabled. This method is safer than having to root your smartphone, if the goal is only to turn off the Google Play store application (not for reinstallation purposes). If your smartphone is already rooted then of course the control of Android is in your hands, including deleting or uninstalling the Google Play Store which is usually a system application.
Hide or Disable Google Play Store without Root
You can solve Google Play Store problems by hiding and disabling apps in Android system. Warning: Disabling system apps may cause other apps not to work properly and will delete data stored in those apps. However, disabling system apps is generally considered safer than rooting, especially if you don’t know what to do.
Some phones, like the Samsung Galaxy, have a “hide app” option that will hide certain apps from the App Drawer, even though those apps will still run in the background. If you want to hide the Play Store and your smartphone has this option, open the App Drawer, go to “Options” and select “Hde Apps”. Then select the app you want to hide, in the case of Google Play Store, and hit “Done”. Now Play Store is hidden, still running so you have to turn it off.
To disable the Play Store, go to “Settings” and select “Apps” and scroll to “All”. Scroll down until you find the Google Play Store, press “Force stop”, then hit “Deactivate”. Now, Play Store will no longer run on your Android device as long as it is disabled. remember! Not all smartphones allow to disable system apps, like Google Play Store. if it is finished, then root is the solution.
Delete or Uninstall Google Play Store with Root Access
In this way, if your Android is rooted, it will be easier. You can uninstall Google Play Store by using an app manager that uses root access such as System app uninstall or ES File Explorer. I will give an example using ES File Explorer, first open the ES File Explorer application and then tap Menu (in the top corner). Scroll down and enable the Root Exporter option (usually a warning pops up asking for a root request from a SuperSU app or something like that, the option is to allow ES File Explorer to access root). Then select Uninstall System App, find and tap on Google Play Store. Select the Uninstall option and finally reboot your Android device.
How to Reinstall Play Store, Reinstall Google Play Store
After the Google Play Store app has been successfully uninstalled, you can reinstall it using the APK file from the Google Play Store. You can get APK files from download sites, for example here. Once the APK file is downloaded successfully, save it to your SD card or internal memory, then open it and install it as usual.
Note: You must enable ‘Unknown Sources’ from Settings > Security, so that you can install apps from outside the app market. You can disable it again after installing the required apps.
