The latest entry from the Borderlands franchise was last released in 2022. In the past 2 years, the Gearbox franchise has not yet received a sequel or a new spin-off.
However, recently there has been news saying that Gearbox will soon announce a spin-off from Borderlands. Previously, Gearbox itself was still reluctant to confirm about the spin-off.
Gearbox announces Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Through today’s Summer Game Fest, they also officially confirmed the news. The spin-off from Borderlands titled Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is now officially announced by Gearbox through their presentation session.
This spin-off will have various elements from the Borderlands in it, on the other hand it will carry a new concept that is quite unique. Along with this, Tiny Tin’s Wonderlands itself was announced through a short trailer showing that this one game will also use a cel-shaded look like Borderlands.
Launching early 2022
Trailer it starts with a character forging something with the appearance of a dragon. The dragon attacks the character from behind, but is caught and attacked with a weapon.
Then, this trailer is followed by several voicer actors who will take part in this one game. Such as Andy Samberg, Will Arnett, Wanda Sykes, and Tiny Tina – Ashly Burch. Finally, the trailer closes with the release schedule of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
