Remembering dreams in a dream journal or storing them in an audio journal, it will familiarize the brain to be in a conscious state even though it is in a dreaming state.
When you remember previous dreams, the brain will store the information/memory of the dreams that have been experienced to be remade in the future or with the same circumstances/situation/feelings that you will feel in the next dream.
Then when you feel the same as in the previous dream. The brain will easily respond if it is a dream state because you have felt the circumstances/situation/feelings that you have experienced. In the end you realize that this is a dream, that’s when you are in a lucid dream state.
