Two months after the launch of the Redmi Note 7 series, Xiaomi has released the latest variant of the Redmi Note 7, the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Even though they both have similar mobile phone designs, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is presented with a different core processor in order to produce a better user experience.
Still using a 6.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, however, the Redmi Note 7 Pro screen is now equipped with TUV Rheinland certification to reduce blue light, especially at night, resulting in better eye protection.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro screen automatically adjusts the brightness level according to the light intensity of the surrounding space.
Redmi Note 7 Pro is now supported by the Snapdragon SDM675 chipset which is superior to the previous series which still uses Snapdragon 660. Supported by Adreno 612 GPU graphics and up to 6GB of RAM, Redmi Note 7 is claimed to have better performance so that the phone doesn’t feel sluggish. when doing multi-tasking activities or taking pictures through the camera application.
In terms of battery life, the Redmi Note 7 Pro still uses a Li-Po battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh.

Pros of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro
With a fairly affordable price, there are several advantages that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro has that can be taken into consideration in deciding which option to buy.

1. Using Hybrid Slots
Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with Dual SIM features and an external memory slot but unfortunately in hybrid mode. So the user has to choose whether to make it entirely for two SIM cards or one for the SIM card and the other for the microSD slot
2. Not Support NFC
With the specifications that are quite promising as above, unfortunately the Redmi Note 7 Pro is still not equipped with NFC. In the digital payment era, as it is today, the existence of NFC is really needed to support e-money filling activities, balance checks and other digital payments.
3. Charger has not Quick Charge 4.0
Even though the Redmi Note 7 Pro has been equipped with fast charging technology, in fact the default charger for this phone still doesn’t support the Quick Charge 4.0 feature. So if the user has to buy another new charger that can support the fast charging feature.
Conclusion
Even though it is priced at a very affordable price, the specifications brought by the Redmi Note 7 Pro are quite sophisticated for the middle class.
With the support of the Snapdragon 675 chipset, there are no significant problems to play games with high graphics. Moreover, there is a 48 MP resolution camera which is expected to be the main attraction.
