Streamers stream real UFC paid events and pretend to play the latest UFC videogames – and get away with it. Twitch streamer Lester_Gaming has managed to circumvent Twitch’s content filters to stream the paid UFC 218 which took place last Saturday in full by pretending to be playing EA’s UFC 3.
Lester has removed the VOD from his stream account, but a tweet showing the time Max Holloway defended his UFC featherweight title against Jose Aldo has gone viral on Twitter, and has been liked nearly 150,000 times.
While breaking the law, AJ Lester’s commitment to his gimmicks is admirable – his grunts and piercing gaze at the chat text stream makes it seem like he’s in control of the fight.
Despite his newfound fame, Lester said, “If I went live again tomorrow, I wouldn’t even have a hundred people here.”

The viral video has more than double the number of followers the stream has, and flooded his inbox with notifications from Twitch.
