Ubisoft for the first time showcased Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 during the Xbox press conference at E3 2022 this morning, in addition to providing information on the release date they also gave players the opportunity to see the gameplay for the first time and provide details about the storyline. Some parts of the game have changed, but the core mechanics of the gameplay seem to be the same but it seems now without the public gimmicks that Ubisoft used to do.
The Division 2 moves from a chilly Manhattan winter to a location in Washington, DC seven months after a deadly virus emerged in New York City. Players will play as veteran Division agents who fight against enemy factions and reclaim the capital. Check out the gameplay and screenshots below:

Hopefully the sequel to The Division 2 is better than the previous series which received criticism from gamers. The Division 2 is planned for release on March 15, 2022, and will be available on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

Currently the publisher is only sharing details about The Division 2, they are just confirming that the game is being developed by the same main studio in the previous series namely Massive Entertainment, Red Storm, and Ubisoft Reflections. Ubisoft also teased players that they would be able to transfer some progress from the first game to this sequel.
