Team spirit finally managed to emerge as the champion of The International (TI) 10 Dota 2 competition and was entitled to take home a prize of Rp. 253 billion. The pride of Russia team managed to become champion after successfully defeating the pride of China, PSG.LGD in the final match on Sunday (17/10/21).
At the beginning of the game, the Spirit team had mastered the game by recording a score of 2-0. Until in the third game, PSG.LGD tried to get up by putting up a fierce fight, the score then changed to a 2-2 draw.
Not wanting PSG.LGD to continue to put pressure on them, Team Spirit finally managed to turn things around by bending PSG.LGD in the 36th minute with a score of 3-2 to deliver Team Spirit as T10 Dota 2 champions. As PSG.LGD runner-up had to be willing to go home with a prize of 5.2 million US dollars or around Rp. 73 billion.
Team Spirit’s success has not been easy. Before entering the final match, Spirit must first conquer the big teams, such as Fnatic, OG, Virtus Pro, Invictus Gaming, PSG LGD and Team Secret.
