The era of Valentino Rossi in Moto GP is over – The boss of Aprilia Gresini, Fausto Gresini, said that the era of Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT) was over. He reflected on the bad results inscribed by The Doctor – Rossi’s nickname – in MotoGP 2022.

This evidence made Gresini view that Rossi’s era in MotoGP was over. The Aprilia boss actually wanted to see Rossi win the race again. However, he thinks it’s hard to come by because of the emergence of several young potential riders in recent seasons.
“Vale – Rossi’s nickname, as we all know, he is an extraordinary rider. He can show that at his current age,” said Gresini, quoting from GP One, Sunday (12/20/2022).
“Sometimes I think it would be very good if Rossi won the race. However, it feels sad to see him finish 15th or 13th,” he said.
“I see him as one of the best. He’s still going strong, but now there are some riders who are in their 20s. He will be 42 years old next season. Everything has a period. It’s ugly to mention, but it’s a fact,” Gresini said.
