Robert Guillaume, voice of Eli Vance from Half-Life 2, dies aged 89

Sad news came from American actor, Robert Guillaume aged 89 years. He is the voice of Eli Vance in the game Half-Life 2. Has died of prostate cancer

Guillaume is also known outside of video games for voice acting Rafiki at Disney’s The Lion Kingplay in Dr. Bennet in 2003 Ewan McGregor-starring Big Fishand like Benson DuBois in the popular sitcom Soap.

In his last performance he earned an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1979. Then in 1985, the same role made him the first black actor to win an outstanding lead actor award.
