Shocking news coming from Capcom. In order to celebrate 20 years of its establishment Resident Evil, the game company announced that it will re-release the old Resident Evil (RE) series, RE 4, 5, and 6 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
As reported by Gamerant, Sunday (28/2/2022), Capcom promised to release all three series Resident Evil before 2022 ends.
The legend that became one of the games survival horror most popular action packed, Capcom will release Resident Evil 6 for PS4 first and Xbox One on March 29.
With the announcement of this plan, Capcom has also released a trailer for the three RE series. From the snippet below, RE 6 has a graphical upgrade. Dear, Capcom has not provided clarification whether RE 6 is experiencing a graphical upgrade or just updated.ported direct.
After RE6, Capcom will immediately release RE 5 in the second quarter of 2022, followed by RE 4 in the third quarter of 2022.
The three RE series will be priced at around Rp. 270,000 for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 will join the Resident Evil HD Remaster and Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster which released on PS4 and Xbox One first.
This means that almost all of the RE series have been remade for the PS4 and Xbox One with the exception of Code: Veronica, RE 2, and RE 3: Nemesis.
Given that there are still 10 months left in 2022, there is still a possibility that the last three games mentioned above will also follow other Resident Evil series in the list of games released on PS4 and Xbox One. Wait for more information from Capcom.
