realme 3 1

The back of this phone is made of high quality plastic with glossy paint. Realme 3 uses a monolithic design, with curved sides to produce a firm grip when used.

The dual camera cluster for the main camera on the Realme 3 is placed on the left side of the back. The 13MP sensor is marked with a yellow circle on the lens cover, then below it there is a 2MP depth sensor and LED flash.

The fingerprint scanner is also located on the back, always active and very accurate when in use. The sound speaker is placed between the frame and the windshield.

The Realme 3 places the microUSB charging port, speakerphone, and mic mic on the bottom. The SIM slot is on the left and can be installed simultaneously with 2 nano-SIM and microSD cards.

The Realme 3 is the same size as the Realme 2 at 156.1 x 75.6 x 8.3 mm and weighs only around 175g.

Realme 3 Layar screen

Realme 3 has a 6.2-inch LCD screen, HD + resolution, and the new one has a smaller waterdrop notch. The resolution remains the same at 720 x 1,520 pixels as its predecessor Realme 2, it’s not a screen with ideal sharpness but it still meets your needs with a 19:9 frame rate.

The screen on the Realme 3 is already protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and if you bought the device you don’t need to add a screen protector, the screen already has the best screen protector right now.

Battery Life

The Realme 3 is powered by a large 4,230 mA battery, supports 5V/2A charging and the included 10W charger can charge 23% of the battery in 30 minutes and 30% in 40 minutes.

The Realme 3 achieved outstanding results in battery testing with 108 hours of operation, including video playback, calls and web browsing.

Software on Realme 3

Realme 3 runs on the Android 9 Pie operating system and OPPO’s latest 6 color OS user interface. The new interface feels more comfortable to use, the new font (OPPO Sans) which OPPO has developed together with the Hanyi company.

The Color OS interface also provides you with a menu containing applications and that is enabled by default. The built-in ColorOS 6.0 can analyze and study user habits, thus optimizing performance. If you don’t like it, you can turn it off in settings.

The user interface still looks very familiar with Android Pie despite some graphical changes.

The Realme 3 fingerprint scanner has a very fast and accurate processing speed. You also have an extra security option with a face unlock feature with the ability to get a 120 point view and be difficult to manipulate using photos.

Realme 3 performance

Realme 3 already uses a Helio P60 processor with 8 cores (4 Cortex A73 cores + 4 Cortex A53 cores), clocked at 2.0 GHz.

The GPU hasn’t changed much with the 3 core MP3 Mali-G72, the clock speed is increased to 100MHz and it uses an AI algorithm.

The Helio P60 scores well on Geekbench and easily beats most other processors in the same segment. The multi-core score is somewhat lower than other Helio microprocessor phones, but this could be ROM-related and could be changed via an update.

Realme 3 has a graphic advantage due to the lower screen resolution, the performance is twice that of the Realme 2 and of course the speed is not comparable to all competitors at the same price.

The GPU performance on the Realme 3 is also impressive. In the Antutu test, the Realme 3 showed good benchmarks.

Overall, the Realme 3 offers good performance and is used without any problems. If you need an affordable smartphone for gaming, don’t hesitate to choose Realme 3.

realme 3 review

Realme 3 camera

The Realme 3 is equipped with a dual camera with a 13MP F/1.8 aperture main sensor that supports phase autofocus, a 2MP auxiliary sensor for depth of field metering to help blur the background.

The Realme 3 camera has an AI scene recognition feature that identifies landscapes, food and animals, and the software will adjust all parameters automatically to help you get the best photos. While using you will see a small icon when the scene is successfully identified.

The camera app has 3 main modes: take pictures, take portraits and record videos, you can switch between modes easily with a swipe. Can switch to Chrome Boost, set HDR, flash.

Apart from that, you also have a menu with several other interesting shooting modes such as Professional (manual parameter adjustment), Pano, Time-lapse, Slow-mo, and Nightscape.

However, on the Realme 3, there is also a 2X Zoom which supports simple digital zoom and exposure modes for night photography.

The photos produced by this smartphone are quite bright with sharp quality, complete detail, extraordinary contrast, and accurate colors. The light sensitivity range is average, the HDR mode also works really well when it is possible to draw back light in a lot of unprocessed areas. Noise levels often appear in areas of the same color but the image quality is still balanced.

Overall, the Realme 3 offers good photos and is arguably better than competitors from other brands at the same price.

The Realme 3 doesn’t have a telephoto lens so the 2x Zoom is completely digital. You can optionally enlarge the screen and this feature is also quite useful in some cases.

The HDR mode works really well, helping to get details back in the shadows. With Chrome Boost, it’s an advanced HDR mode and you should only use it to increase the light-sensitive range if you feel like producing photos with slightly lighter colors. The downside of this feature is that it will lose some image detail although the ability to draw back light is better than HDR.

The 13MP camera on the Realme 3 has an aperture of F/1.8 so the light output is really good. It is one of the cheapest smartphones to offer a great Nightscape night mode.

Some of the photos taken in Chrome Boost mode were in low light conditions and really created a unique light balance. Perhaps, only HDR and Chrome Boost that Realme 3 is strong enough to conquer bad lighting conditions.

The Realme 3 is in portrait mode with a high-resolution 13MP sensor for great photos. The ability to separate subjects against the background is good. The only thing to note is that you have to keep the device steady, for at least 1 to 2 seconds.

13MP selfie camera, F/2.0 aperture with fixed focal length. With HDR mode, selfie photos taken by Realme 3 have beautiful, detailed and sharp colors. Comes with many interesting photography effects that are ready to bring a pleasant experience for users.

Although the Helio P60 chip can record 4K videos, but for some reason, the Realme 3 is not equipped with this feature. Not even 1080p@60fps and EIS is missing. However, you can still shoot FullHD 1080p video at 30fps with accurate color, good noise handling. Overall with such video quality, users can feel satisfied.

Realme 3 price

Realme always sets new standards every time it launches a new product, and the Realme 3. Realme 3 has a lot of cool stuff that goes way beyond its current price tag of around Rp. 1.8 million. The first is because this smartphone has a beautiful design, good performance, and a fairly large screen.

The gaming experience on smartphones is also very good, popular games like PUBG are easy to run at 30 frames per second or AOV reaches 60 frames per second. Battery life is also very good and the camera is high-end with Chroma Boost and Night modes.
