Poco F3 GT: Specifications and Features: After launching the Poco F3 as the rebranded Redmi K40 in the global market earlier this year, evidence hinting at the next Poco F-series device started appearing online a few months ago. Now, the Chinese giant has confirmed that the next device to launch in India is the Poco F3 GT, and it will arrive in the third quarter of 2022.
The announcement of the launch of the Poco F3 India came from Poco India head Anuj Sharma, who shared a tweet with a teaser video. You can see the teaser video here. The caption of the tweet, which reads “Locked & loaded, finger on the triggers”, further hinting at the possibility of the Poco F3 GT becoming a gaming smartphone.
On the other hand, the video confirms that the upcoming device will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and launch sometime in Q3 2022. So, we can expect the company to launch the device in July or August this year.
With two strong leads and a barrage of online rumors, it can be assumed that the Poco F3 GT will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. It was the first gaming phone under the Redmi brand. And well, the Poco F3 GT will be the first F series phone to launch in India since the Poco F1 in 2022.

The following are the specifications of the HP Poco F3 GT according to rumors circulating along with the features attached to this phone:

6.67 Full-HD+ AMOLED display: The Poco F3 GT will feature a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. Currently we are not sure whether the device will carry a gamer-like design or not. Previously, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition did come in a yellow color variant, so what are you waiting for.
Dimensity 1200 Chipset: Under the hood, we officially know that the Dimensity 1200 chipset will power this Poco F3 GT. You’ll also find up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
5,065mAh battery: The Poco F3 GT will also be equipped with a 5,065mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. Also, the highlight of the smartphone is likely to be a physical trigger on the side that pops up at the push of a button.
64MP Camera: As for the camera, the Poco F3 GT will include a triple camera setup on the back. You’ll get a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with 119-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro lens. The punch-hole on the front will likely house a 16MP selfie camera.
So yes, the Poco F3 GT is likely to be a powerful high-end gaming smartphone. We currently don’t know any news about the official launch date. So stay tuned for more information.
