Klopp robs Flick of 2022 FIFA Coach of the Year award – Bayern Munich fans do not accept that the coach of their beloved club, Hansi Flick, failed to win the 2022 FIFA Best Coach award. The title was claimed by Jurgen Klopp.
Flick competed alongside Klopp and Leeds United coach Marcelo Bielsa in the final breakdown of the best coaches. Previously, many factions championed Flick which had cooler achievements.
Bayern Munich under the control of Flick incarnated as the ruler of Europe last season. Die Roten successfully won the treble winners including the Champions League title.
Even so, some voters tend to choose Klopp as the Best FIFA 2022 Coach. He is considered to have succeeded in ending his 30-year Premier League title drought that had stayed away from The Kop.
However, people were surprised after Klopp was declared the world’s best coach champion. Even though Klopp was only able to bring the Reds to the Premier League title.
Hansi Flick’s key words snatched away also echoed in the world of Twitter. Some fans did not accept the result of the vote that won Klopp.
“Hansi Flick has won more trophies as Bayern Munich coach (5) than he has lost in match (3) since working in November 2022. Deprived,” wrote @nze_musoke.
West Ham United fan John Smith commented on Klopp’s victory which was seen as not comparable to Flick.
“Hansi Flick is truly deprived of the best coach award. The man won the treble with Bayern while Klop was knocked out of the Champions League and two local rivalries to concentrate on the Premier League.
