Investors Demand Cyberpunk 2077 Game Developers Because Launch Doesn’t Go Well – The lack of smooth release of the latest game with CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 apparently not only made some players lose. Investors who often fund the project get the impact. Claimed to be underperforming on current-gen consoles, several investors filed a lawsuit against the developer.

According to Bloomberg, shares of CD Projekt Red fell by 25% 3 days after its launch on December 10, 2022. Then it fell back 16% when Sony pulled Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store on December 18, 2022.
The claim, which intends to deviate and cause loss to the investor, is still being resolved individually from CD Projekt Red and the investor.
Looking at other things apart from this issue, Cyberpunk 2077 is still selling hard in December 2022. Claimed to have sold 13 million copies in the two weeks after its release, Cyberpunk 2077 became the hottest game of the year. Most of the biggest marketing comes from pre-orders that have hype marketing promotions, to bring in actress Keanu Reeves.
Almost a decade of cultivation is not certain to make Cyberpunk 2077 release smoothly. What’s more, the COVID-19 outbreak period is sure to be a big problem for some of the staff who started bundling the game in 2022.
CD Projekt Red will begin to fix optimization problems in the update they will issue in 2022 until the problem is over.
