Huawei itself is still prohibited from using technology owned by US companies, so it cannot get supplies of new chips from Qualcomm or other semiconductor manufacturers that use US technology. They will likely dig into their inventory to smooth out the supply of the MatePad 11.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro 4G version is equipped with the Kirin 9000 processor which is paired with 8GB RAM while there are 128GB and 256GB storage options. The devices start at 6,099 yuan which is 400 yuan cheaper than the 5G version.
On the other hand, the 4G version of the Mate 40E is equipped with a Kirin 990E processor supported by 8GB RAM and 128GB and 256GB storage options. The Mate 40E starts at 4199 yuan, also 400 yuan cheaper than the 5G version.
