Here’s how to share Facebook Messenger screen on Android and iOS:
1. To start a Facebook Messenger screen share session, all you have to do is select your friend and get started video callAfter starting the video call, swipe up on the control panel at the bottom of your screen.
Tap “Share Your Screen” then tap “Start Sharing“.
Tap “From now onThen swipe up from the Messenger app to navigate to another app and share your screen (this works system-wide).
You can end share screen by tapping “Stop now” in the top right corner in Messenger app, or by tapping on the red record icon present on the top left of your android/iPhone, or by ending the video call.
The company offers a share screen feature on one-on-one calls and group calls for up to eight people. Moreover, thanks to Messenger Room, you can share your screen with up to 16 people. The Messenger Rooms feature is also available on Facebook’s Instagram and WhatsApp.
Messenger Rooms, in case you didn’t already know, supports group video chats of up to 50 people. The social media giant said it will expand screen sharing support to 50 users in the future. The company also has plans to let Room creators control who can share their screen in Room.
The share screen feature is now rolling out in the latest versions of the Android and iOS Messenger apps. You can start using it by updating the app to the latest version available on Google Play Store or App Store. This feature is already available in the desktop app and web version.
