The conditions needed to Root and Install TWRP
This method of rooting and installing TWRP is provided only for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Note 4X which have used the Qualcomm Chipset, so cellphones or other types of smartphones cannot do this method.
Redmi Note 4X must have the bootloader unlocked.
Bootloader itself is a program that can provide accessibility for modifying a system, verifying OS integrity, providing media for updating a device. So if the bootloader is locked, you have to change it to unlock bootloader.
PC/Laptop devices and a USB cable are also required to root or install TWRP.

How to Install TWRP on Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
Before you start installing TWRP on your Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, make sure Redmi Note 4 TWRP Toolkit has been downloaded first. After that it has also been downloaded lazyflasher-no-verity-opt-encrypt. Without both, the TWRP installation cannot proceed.
The last requirement to root and install TWRP above is a PC / Laptop device, the point is to extract the TWRP toolkit file that has been downloaded.
The next way to install TWRP is to enter Fastboot Mode, the method is as follows:
- deactivate the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 first
- then press and hold the Power and Volume buttons together until Fastboot Mode is available

How to Root Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 via TWRP
Because TWRP is already installed or installed on your Xiaomi, especially the Redmi Note 4, you can now root through this TWRP in the following way.
Make sure you download the root file first and after that select the tool that will be used by Magisk Root.
If the root file has been downloaded, you can enter TWRP. The method is to position your Redmi condition in a turn off or off state, followed by pressing the Volume up and Power buttons simultaneously hold down until the MI logo appears and then release.
