Sometimes in certain circumstances, we need to combine 2 images into one. It can even be more than 2 images that are put together, for example when making a collage.
However, not everyone knows how.
Here are some ways that you can apply yourself to combine the two images into one.
Merge Images Into One Using Laptop
1. Using Paint
- Prepare the images that you want to combine into one. Keep everything in one folder to make it easier for you to choose.
- The next step is, choose an image then right click, select the Open With menu, then choose the Paint software that is there. If you can’t find the Paint option, then try clicking the Choose default programs menu. Then look for Paint in the list of programs.
- Set the size of the first image that you selected earlier.
- Click the down button which is below the Paste button. It’s in the top-left corner. Then select the Paste From menu.
- Select the images that you want to merge, make one then click the Open button.
- Set the size of the pictures that you have made one earlier.
- Save the results by clicking the File menu in the upper left corner. Then select the Save As menu. After that, choose the JPG format and then click Save.

2. Using Microsoft Word
- Prepare the images that you want to combine into one. Keep everything in one folder to make it easier for you to choose.
- Open Microsoft Word on your laptop. Select the Insert menu located in the upper left corner. Then select the Pictures menu and choose Pictures From File.
- Choose the first JPG file that you want to merge with the other images later.
- After that, right-click on the image then select Wrap Text then select Square.
- Resize the two images that have become one according to your taste.
- To save the image from the merge you did earlier, press the Print Screen button on your keyboard.
- Open the Paint application, then click the Paste button in the upper left corner.
- After that, do Crop using the Crop button if you want to remove unnecessary images.
- When finished, click the File menu in the upper left corner, select the Save As menu and then select the JPG format.
- Click Save.
3. Using Web Browser Help (Here using the IMGonline.com site)
- Open the imgonline.com site in your browser.
- Next, move the cursor down,
- Click the Choose File button (Browse…), then upload your two image files one by one.
- Then, move the cursor down. In the Combining Settings column, set the settings from Merge Two Pictures to horizontally or vertically.
- Adjust the combination in the image according to your taste.
- For the other settings you don’t need to change again, unless you still want to change it yourself.
- Move the cursor down again. Then in the Output Image Format settings, choose the JPEG (standard) format, then set the Quality according to your needs.
- When everything is done, click the OK button and wait a few moments.
- After the conversion process is complete, you will be directed to a new page or tab. On that page there will be a Download Processed Image button available, click the button if you want to save the photo to your computer / laptop.

4. Using Adobe Photoshop Application Help
- Open the Adobe Photoshop application
- Click File then New then set the resolution.
- New Image Settings in Photoshop
- Next, click the File menu then Place then select the photo you want.
- Adjust the position of the photo in such a way. When finished, right-click, then click Place.
- Repeat the previous two steps.
Merge Images Into One Using Android
If you don’t have a laptop / computer, you don’t have to worry. Because times are very good, all problems must have a solution.
