How to Make a GIF in Canva From Photos/Images
1. Open your web browser and navigate to the page
Canva’s online GIF maker. Now click the button Make a free GIF.
2. Switch to tab Uploads on the left and click the button
Upload media to add an image.
3. Once added, you will find it under the Image tab. Now drag and drop your image in the GIF maker.
4. Now click the button + in the timeline to add your next image. You can repeat this step to add more images.
5. Next, click clock icon in the toolbar at the top to define the display duration of the image in your GIF. You can set it from 0.1 seconds to 30 seconds.

Adding Elements
Once you add an image to the timeline, you are ready to bring your GIF to life by adding various elements to it. Here’s how.
1. Switch to Elements tab on your left. Here, you can explore a complete library of stickers, graphics, photos, charts, and much more. For GIF, you can see Graphics tab to find decal, designs, badges, etc. In this example I added a sticker.

Adding Text
