How to Edit Photo Background Online and the Steps

Want to change or delete photo backgrounds but don’t have editing skills? Relax, it can be done online without the need for any editing skills.

The important thing is to have an internet quota, you can do it.

I often use this online photo background editing method when I’m in a hurry to send a photo with a certain background color.

Instead of having to go to a photographer, I prefer to change the background of an existing photo in the following ways.

Notes: You can use the method below for any photo, not just diploma/work photos.

1. Edit Photo Background Online With Remove Bg

Let’s start with the tool I use most often, Remove.bg.

The reason I like this website is that it is practical and simple. For the purposes of changing and removing the online background, I think this is the best.

Here’s how to use it.

1. Prepare the image that you will edit the background
2. Visit the website remove.bg
3. Once open, click Upload Image
4. Select a photo then upload it, wait until the upload process is complete. The example here I use the image of Cristiano Ronaldo.
5. The original image is like this.
6. To start editing, click the Remove Background tab > then click edit.
7. If you want to replace the background with a photo, please select the photo provided. Or, you can upload your own image that you want to use as a background by clicking the Select Photo option.
8. If you want to replace the background with a color, click the Color tab and then select the color you want.

If you just want to delete the background, not how to replace it?

To remove the background only, you can go back to step number 6, then just click download. Then the photo will change to PNG and no background anymore.

2. Edit Photo Background Online With Editphotosforfree.com

This website is also very easy to use. The best alternative if you are looking for an online photo background change site that is free and without the need to login.

1. Go to the website editphotosforfree.com
2. Select the Remove Background from Image Online menu
3. Upload the photo to be edited
4. Wait until the process is complete. Usually it takes a little longer because this website will automatically delete your photo background.
5. Then two photos will appear, to the left of your original photo, to the right of the photo whose background has been removed.
6. Click Edit Transparent Image
7. Scroll down, select Background
8. If you want to use your own background, click Upload Background.
9. If you want to change the background color, select the Color tab.
10. When finished, you can directly click Download.
11. Choose a file type (JPEG or PNG), choose a quality, then click Download.

3. Edit Photo Background With Airmore.com

AirMore is actually a tool to contact HP to PC. So, it’s kind of like TeamViewer.

But AirMore on its website also provides a free background editing tool.

How to use is:

1. Visit airmore.com/remove-background-online
2. 3 options will appear for uploading photos. The far left is specifically for human photos, in the middle is specifically for photos of goods, the right is specifically for documents/texts/graphics.
3. Decide which category your photo belongs to, then upload your photo
4. After the photo is uploaded, two images will appear. To the left of the original image, to the right of the photo that has no background.
5. If you just want to change the background, just click Download.
6. If you want to change the background, either with a photo or a color, click Edit.
7. Click Change Background > choose the color or photo you want.
8. After that, click Download.
9. Finished.

Conclusion

The 3 online photo background editing websites above are the best right now. Apart from being easy to use, everything is also free.

However, when it comes to editing a large number of photo backgrounds at once, I have never tried it. So, I don’t know if it’s still free or not if the number of background edits is a lot.

There are still many sites to change or delete other photo backgrounds, but most of them are paid and their use is quite complicated. So, I do not recommend in this article.

For simple purposes, the 3 websites above are very capable.

Now, you no longer need to ask other people for help to just change the photo background. No need to make a new photo every time you need to send a photo with a different color background.
