How to Create Gmail Email on Laptop / PC and HP

How to create a Gmail email is very easy and can be done via a laptop / PC or on a cellphone.

You can use this email Google account later to access all Google products such as Drive, Play Store, Youtube, and others.

In this article, I will show you the steps to create a new Gmail account, either through a laptop/PC or through a cellphone.

How to Create Gmail Email on Laptop/PC

1. Go to Mail.Google.com or Gmail.com

For the first step, please visit mail.google.com or gmail.com. Next, please click the button create account which is available.

2. Please Fill in the Data

Fill in all the required data. Starting from the first name, last name, email address, and password. After everything is filled in, click the link Next.

3. Enter Phone Number

Enter your phone number for Google verification purposes. Click Next.

One phone number can be used for more than one account. For example, previously you have used your number to create a Google account, then it doesn’t matter. You can use the same number for a new account.

4. Wait for the Verification SMS

Check the SMS, see the code that Google sent. Enter into the column provided. Then, click Next.

5. Fill in the form that appears

Next, fill in the form that appears. Here is a form to fill in the recovery phone number and email address, date of birth, and gender. Then, click Next.

The recovery phone number and email are optional, meaning they can be filled in or not. Use this phone number and email address, if at any time you forget your password or your account is hacked, you can request a new password to the recovery phone number or email.

So, I suggest it should be filled only for safety. If you don’t have another email, at least fill in your phone number.

6. Agree to Privacy And Terms

Then it will appear Privacy and Terms from Google. You can read all of them first or scroll down and click I agree.

7. Email Successfully Created

If a display like the image below appears, it means that you have successfully created a new gmail email. When finished, you can log in to gmail as usual.

Sometimes, Google detects that you are under the age of 13. Then Google will ask for additional verification as below.

This usually happens if you enter the wrong year of birth, so Google is considered not old enough. If the above happens, you should create an account again from scratch. But before that, delete all your browser history and cache.

How to Create Gmail Email on HP

In my opinion, this method is easier, namely creating a gmail account via cellphone. However, this is not a way to make an email from a cellphone instantly.

The steps to create an email in Gmail via HP can be done through settings or via a browser.

1. Create a New Gmail Account Through HP Settings

This method is usually the one I use the most. The reason is because it is easy and fast.

1. Go to settings/settings, then open Account settings.
2. Click Add account. There will be many choices of accounts that can be added, just choose Google.
3. You will be directed to login to Google, click Create account. Choose For yourself.
4. Enter First Name and Last Name. Then click Next.
5. Fill in the form. Basic information in the form of date, month, year of birth and gender.
6. Select the email address you want to use. You can choose a recommended Gmail address from Google or create your own. Then click Next.
7. Enter the password you will use, repeat it in the confirmation column. Then click Next.
8. Enter the phone number to get the verification code. Make sure the number is active, because Google will send a verification code via SMS.
9. Check incoming SMS from Google, enter 6 verification codes into the column provided.
10. There will be an option to add a phone number to your gmail account. You can choose Yes, I’m in or Skip. If you choose Skip, you can still add a phone number to your account later.
11. Google provides email info that you can use to log into your account.
12. Then, the Privacy and Terms will appear. You can choose directly click I agree or click OTHER OPTIONS to custom privacy.
13. Finished

Congratulations, your Gmail email account is ready. Please open the Gmail application on your cellphone to see it. Usually every cellphone automatically has a default Gmail application.

You can also use another email application for access, as desired.

2. Create Gmail on Mobile Via Browser

In this second method, I will show you how to create gmail via a browser. The steps are practically the same as through a Laptop/PC.

1. Open gmail.com via browser (Chrome, Opera, UC, etc)
2. Click Create account, choose for yourself.
3. Furthermore, the method is exactly the same as the steps to create gmail via Laptop/PC above.
