Another great way to connect with others in the Clubhouse is by creating a Club. Previously, users had to apply for clubs and had to wait for approval. However, after the March 5, 2022 update, users can now create Clubs within the app.
Many users have been waiting for this feature because Clubhouse took a long time to approve the request. In addition, there was ambiguity on the subject by the previous Clubhouse, which caused confusion among users.
How to Create a Club at the Clubhouse
- Open the Clubhouse app, then tap on your profile photo
- Tap the + . option
- Enter Club name
- Choose a topic
- Enter a description of Club
- Tap create
To create a Club in the Clubhouse, tap profile photo You’re in the top right corner of the Clubhouse app. If you haven’t uploaded a profile picture, then your initials will be shown in that section.
Now scroll down where Club is mentioned and then tap on options + in the last section.
A New Club window will open, which consists of all the fields which must be filled in before you can create a club.
Next, enter Club name in the first part. The club name cannot be changed later, so be careful at this step.
Now, tap switch to allow permission, if required. These are all optional and you can also disable them. Now, tap Topic which is the penultimate part.
Select until three topics from the list to help people understand about the Club you are creating and also to increase its reach.
The last part is Club description. Enter about that Club and any other relevant information you may wish to add. Try to keep the description clear and concise, as users don’t like long reading. After you fill in all the fields, tap on Create in the upper right corner.

The Club has now been created, and you can start inviting people to be a part of the Club you created. Clubs are a great way to interact with a specific audience and rooms hosted through clubs generally have a higher level of engagement.
