While livestreaming the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on Twitch today, Guy Beahm or better known as DrDisRespect suddenly got up and walked out of the camera. 1 minute later he came back and told the audience that he was going to stop his Twitch broadcast today after hearing someone just opened fire on his house and smashed the upstairs window of his house.
“I have to end the broadcast now. Someone just shot a gun into our house, broke the upstairs window,” said DrDisrespect, also revealing it wasn’t the first time – another unknown person shot into his house yesterday.
In the 2 twitch clips below you can see what happened, in the first when DrDisrespect was in the lobby of the Call of Duty: Black Ops game and suddenly he heard a loud noise and got up to check where the sound was coming from, and in the second he came back and then tell the audience what is going on in the house.
We haven’t found further official details yet, but from Polygon’s report, the city of California authorities confirmed that this is the second report of a shot at the home of the exact same person DrDisrespect said in the screenshot above. Since that incident the name of the livestreaming video has also been changed to “Doc and his family are safe. Appropriate action was taken after stopping streaming for the day.”
Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm, 36, who lives in California, United States, won the Trending Gamer award at The Game Awards in 2022. He is also one of the figures who helped popularize the Battle Royale genre game.
