Here’s How to Sync Instagram and WhatsApp Chats – Instagram has released a new step that makes it easier for users to contact business account owners via WhatsApp directly from the Instagram program.
As the first country in Asia Pacific to get this feature, some businesses in Indonesia can now connect their WhatsApp number to their business Instagram profile.
Through this feature, users can immediately contact and initiate conversations with sellers via WhatsApp with just 1 click after finding the business on Instagram.
Steps to connect Instagram with WhatsApp Chat:
- Added Whatsapp button on business Instagram profile.
- Go to your Instagram business account page, then select Change Profile.
- Select the contact option, then add your WhatsApp number.
- Enter the authentication code you received, then your business Instagram account will be automatically connected to your WhatsApp account.
- Failing to link Instagram accounts with WhatsApp via the WhatsApp program.
- Open Business Features and specify Settings.
- Tap on linked accounts.
- Specify Instagram and tap Fail Link.
Initially, some Instagram users had to enter the business WhatsApp number listed on the business Instagram profile manually. However, through this new feature, loyal customers can connect with the businesses they enjoy more quickly and easily so that they can speed up the process of business transactions.
Facebook’s Country Director in Indonesia, Pieter Lydian, explained that Instagram has the intention of helping MSMEs and several businesses in marketing their products and driving marketing, especially during the Covid-19 outbreak period.
“We know that many businesses use Instagram as a virtual storefront, and WhatsApp as the final gateway to make further conversations about products with loyal consumers to drive marketing,” Pieter said through recorded information, Friday (18/12).
