In 2022, there is another Battle Royale genre game ready to challenge PUBG and Fortnite, namely Apex Legends. There were rumors about this game, however, finally Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have officially announced their newest game, Apex Legends. During the announcement even this game was immediately released and gamers around the world could immediately play it at no cost though. In terms of gameplay, this game combines many elements from various games, such as Respawn’s own Titanfall series, battle royale games like PUBG and Fortnite, and many more.
However, in this battle royale game the number of players is not 100 but around sixty players will be pitted on an island, this game is played with a team of three players. Just like most Battle royale games, after landing the player must find equipment and weapons to fight other troops, and the area will also decrease gradually.
