The Google Pixel Watch display has appeared online. The renders show the rumored premium smartwatches that the Apple Watch Series 6 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 can shoot from multiple angles.
The rendering also shows the wearable with several colors for the band and dial. There doesn’t appear to be any button on the smartwatch other than the crown on the right side of the dial, as shown in the render. The smartwatch is slated to hit the market in October along with the Pixel 6 smartphone.
According to a render leaked by tipster Jon Prosser, Google Pixel Watch launched and given the code name “Rohan”. The smartwatch seems to be inspired by offerings from Samsung and Apple by including an all-round display or crown. The renders show the watch with a circular dial with several silicone strap options, suggesting that Google allows users to easily swap bands.
According to Prosser, Google will offer around 20 band options in addition to the Pixel 6 smartphone rumored with the Pixel Watch, which he says could hit the market in October. In an episode of his YouTube show “Front Page Tech”, the tipster said his creation was based on marketing material he saw from a source at Google. He worked with Ian Zelbo on the rendering. Nothing concrete is known about its specifications. Google Pixel Watch launched and assumed to be running Wear OS from Google, the company’s operating system for smartwatches. It can be equipped with a heart rate monitor and several sport modes.
Since Google recently signed a purchase agreement for its fitness wearable company, it’s possible that the rumored Google Pixel smartwatch will offer advanced health features such as blood oxygen monitoring and voice command support.
