The steps taken by Valve to make e-Sports more exciting and competitive seem to be going smoothly. Especially in their competitive flagship, the new DOTA 2 provides excitement in its deployment. Starting to leave the mainstay of The International as a major tournament that is held every year, and now Valve is starting to divide it into several major tournaments which are now called “The Major”.
The event this time brought a very hot competition at the recently held Boston Major. This event became a proof for several teams and for the umpteenth time OG came out as the winner.
OG Defeats Ad Finem in Boston Major Final with Score 3-1
Previously, OG had also won the previous two Majors, namely Frankfurt and Manila. With this victory, OG is entitled to a winning prize of USD 1,000,000. In the final which was fantastic they managed to beat the Ad Finem team with a score of 3-1. DOTA 2 itself has confirmed for the next Major event which will be held in Kiev, Ukraine in April 2022.
