However, regarding the need for a bank code for BCA, it is usually required by users of ATM bank transfer services where customers from other banks must input the BCA bank code at the ATM machine. For that, the user must first check the list of bank codes. For more details, see the following review.
- Visit to BCA ATM or ATM from another bank.
- Insert card with ATM PIN.
- Click Menu, select “Other Transactions”`
- Then an option will appear then press “Other Banks”`
- Press option “Bank Code List”`
- Click the list of bank codes, select BCA bank code.
- Enter the 3 digit number of the special code in front of the account number to which you want to transfer.
- insert transfer amount.

In order not to forget and save search time when looking for a list of bank codes, you can write down the bank code for the transfer process at a later date. Although it seems complicated, this method can be a solution when you forget any bank code when you are going to make a transfer.
Especially if there is no cellphone to search for the required bank code. This note also makes you no longer need to ask what the BCA Bank code is when sending money from a different bank account.
However, these suggestions are optional so there is no need for you to do so. The reason is, any ATM machine is equipped with the bank code feature. So you don’t have to worry about making a wrong transfer or entering the bank code number wrongly. If in doubt, you can check again.
BCA Bank Code Function

In general, the Bank BCA transfer code and other bank codes are tools to identify and differentiate the identity of each bank. Like the BCA bank, the bank code serves to indicate that the BCA bank account is different from other bank codes.
Another function of the bank code is also to prevent mistakes by customers when making transfers via ATM. So, if the system identifies an error in the bank code, the transaction will automatically be cancelled.
Then what are the advantages of using the BCA Bank code when transferring via ATM? The first advantage is, of course, as a method of identifying the destination account. To ensure that the account to which the funds are transferred is the correct BCA account.
Then another use is to prevent transfer errors. The reason is, if the bank code is not the same as the destination bank account, the transaction will not be processed. In essence, the existence of this bank code will make it easier for transactions to send funds between different banks.
How to Transfer Using BCA Bank Code
As previously mentioned, the Bank BCA code will be required to transfer money from different banks such as BNI, BRI, Mandiri, BTN, etc. to a BCA account using any payment service.
This code must be entered in the format of the money transfer transaction to be made. But, already know how to use the bank code for transfers? If you already know how to check the bank code for BCA at an ATM, this time it’s from SMS Banking and mBanking.
1. Bank Transfer to BCA Via SMS Banking

SMS Banking transactions require users to enter a bank code in the transaction format. This includes when sending money to a BCA Bank account. From any bank, you still have to enter the code 014 into the transaction format.
If you do not enter the code, the transaction will fail and the money transfer cannot be continued. So you have to repeat the transaction from the beginning again which of course can hamper and drain longer time.
For those of you who are still confused about how to enter the transfer code to BCA, here are the steps. The following example shows how to transfer money from BRI to BCA using SMS Banking.
- Unlock features SMS in mobile phone
- For new message.

2. Bank Transfer to BCA Via Mobile Banking

The next method is a BCA bank transfer via mobile banking. This application has been provided by each bank which can be downloaded directly to the smartphone via the application store. Of course, this method can only be applied after the account is active and registered in the mobile application.

3. Bank Transfer to BCA Via Internet Banking

In addition to the two methods above, bank transfers to BCA can also be made through internet banking (iBanking). You can do this method via a smartphone or laptop that is connected to the internet. - Enter the mToken code in the column provided, click “Send“.
- Wait until the transaction process is successful. After that you can save the proof of the transaction in PDF format.
The guidelines for transactions through internet banking above will of course be different for each bank. The example above is an example of a transaction from another bank to BCA using the internet banking payment method. Of all these processes, the most important thing that should not be missed is of course the transfer code.
Because whatever method is used, if you do not include the correct BCA bank code, the transaction process will not be successful. This also applies to other bank codes when making transactions between different banks. That way, write down the bank code for the convenience of your transaction.
