The 2022 ASEAN Games for Electronic Sports (AGES) will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 18-20 March 2022. And Indonesia is again participating in this prestigious tournament in Asia.
As quoted from the IeSPA Facebook page, Indonesia plans to send an eSports team to compete in the games DotA 2, CS:GO, and FIFA 16.
Like the local and international tournaments DotA 2 and CS:GO in general, the teams representing Indonesia will be selected systematically by IeSPA.
For the FIFA 16 game, representatives of Indonesia will be selected through a FIFA tournament which will be held at Mall Alam Sutera from 5-6 March 2022.
For your information, the ASEAN Games for Electronic Sport is the largest international tournament event in Southeast Asia. This tournament is getting bigger by the total prize pool lucrative, which is RM 1 million or around Rp 3.2 billion.

This tournament can also be held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia Malaysia, and even the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. Besides Indonesia and Malaysia, there are six other participating countries, such as Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
