After Leading National Team Training, Shin Tae-yong Touches the League Competition – The manager and coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, automatically touched the country’s football competition, which did not roll over after leading the U22 national team’s first practice.
The first practice of the Indonesian U22 national team lasted for approximately 90 minutes on Field D of the Bung Karno Main Stadium Complex (SUGBK), Monday (12/20/2022) afternoon WIB.
After training, Shin Tae-yong touched on the competition between League 1 and League 2 which until now has not rolled over since it was first postponed on March 14, 2022.
In the latest changes, Liga 1 and Liga 2 2022 will likely roll back again in February 2022. That means, some players have been on holiday competing for 11 months if Liga 1 and Liga 2 really do run again in February 2022.
According to Shin Tae-yong, the competition that didn’t work out really changed the circumstances of some players.
“This is the day the players immediately practice on the field after joining the other day,” said Shin Tae-yong, taken from the official PSSI website. “Some of the players who have had a long training holiday with the club. So, we are currently monitoring their condition,” Shin Tae-yong added.
“During the focus of training in Jakarta, we will concentrate on improving the physical, stamina and strengthening of players,” said Shin Tae-yong. “We want them to be psychologically better after this training focus,” said the coach from South Korea.
Shin Tae-yong summoned 36 players to participate in the focus of training for the Indonesian U22 national team in the preparation plan for the 2022 SEA Games.
Of the 36 names invited, there were 18 senior players or aged over 21 years. Evan Dimas Darmono, Nadeo Argawinata, Adam Alis, and Ryuji Utomo are four examples of senior players called Shin Tae-yong.
Regarding the issue for the U22 group, Shin Tae-yong called many 2022 SEA Games alumni such as Feby Eka Putra, Asnawi Mangkualam Bahar, Nurhidayat Haji Haris, Syahrian Abimanyu, to Egy Maulana Vikri.
The focus of training for the U22 Indonesia national team on this occasion will run for approximately 12 days until December 31, 2022 in Jakarta. However, it was confirmed that Shin Tae-yong could not join the Indonesian U22 national team until the end of the training focus.
Because, Shin Tae-yong is planned to go to Spain on Sunday (12/26/2022) to lead the focus of training for the Indonesian U19 national team. The focus of training in Spain is included in the preparation of the U19 Indonesia national team to face the 2022 U20 World Cup. Shin Tae-yong’s status in Jakarta will be replaced by his trusted person, Nova Arianto.
