www.rancakmedia.com – Nokia will launch new audio products on Flipkart on April 5 in India. According to the Nokia Audio Store on the e-commerce platform, the audio devices will have technology “designed to produce pristine sound”. It is also indicated that the product can be used “in the rain”, “in crowded places”, “during training” and “playing”.
The teaser is accompanied by a video showing that the Finnish company could launch true stereo wireless earbuds (TWS). Interestingly, the launch is three days before another event recently confirmed by Nokia licensee HMD Global.
According to the Nokia Audio Store micro site on Flipkart, Nokia will launch the product a pair of TWS headphones. The teaser contains several photos and videos showing the various functions of the upcoming audio product. Additionally, there is a small quiz about the product, where the air is then cleaned so that the headphones have an IPX7 protection rating for water resistance and can be used “in the rain”.
Nokia audio products are also effective “in crowded places” indicating that they may have an Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature. Other cues include their use of “while exercising” – a sign of a secure fit so they don’t fall off while exercising, and “play” which is basically a low-latency flirt.
A recent report, citing sources, claims that Nokia will launch soon Bluetooth neckband earbuds in India via Flipkart. The headphones will reportedly come with Bluetooth 5.1 support and Qualcomm aptX HD audio technology.
They are also equipped with fast charging, which allows the device to deliver 9 hours of playback in 10 minutes of charging. The device is expected to come in at least three color options: black, blue, and gold. Most likely the two audio products will be launched on the same day.
As previously mentioned, Nokia licensee HMD Global also sent out media invites for the launch event on April 8. The company is expected to launch its X and G series smartphones.
This is not the first time Flipkart has launched Nokia products as an exclusive partner in India as it previously owned Nokia AC, Nokia PureBook X14 laptop, Nokia 65-inch 4K LED smart Android TV and Nokia brought a media streamer.
