www.rancakmedia.com – In India, Mi Boost Pro Power Bank was announced with a battery capacity of 30,000 mAh. The power bank features Power Delivery (PD) 3.0, fast charging via the USB Type-C port, and advanced 16-layer circuit protection.
According to Xiaomi, PD 3.0 allows charging at peak power of 24 W, which means the power bank can be fully charged in 7.5 hours. The device uses a high-density lithium polymer battery, which is said to improve charge conversion rates and stabilize discharge voltages. Power Bank is currently in a crowdfunding round.
Features of Mi Boost Pro Power Bank
The Mi Boost Pro Power Bank has three ports – two USB Type A and one USB Type C. The USB Type-C port can be used to charge compatible devices as well as to charge the bank itself. Users can also charge the power bank using a micro USB cable. It has 18W fast charging support and can charge three devices simultaneously. It’s unclear if all three devices charge at 18W at the same time.
The Mi Boost Pro Power Bank is equipped with Power Deliver 3.0 technology, which supports charging from USB Type C to USB Type C (input/output) as well as charging from USB Type C to the Lightning port. By charging from USB Type C to USB Type C, the powerbank can be recharged with a peak power of 24 W. According to Xiaomi, the powerbank can be fully charged this way in 7.5 hours.
According to Xiaomi, the Mi Boost Power Bank is equipped with a high density lithium polymer battery. The battery is said to have an advanced resistive capacity sensor that keeps the device safe, improves charge conversion rates, and stabilizes discharge voltage.
For smaller devices there is a Smart Power Management function and a charging mode with low power consumption. Pressing the power button twice will switch the power bank into 2 hour charging mode to juice devices like wireless headphones and smartbands. According to Xiaomi, the Mi Boost Pro Power Bank has a 16-layer Advanced Chip Protection that protects the device from overheating, overcurrent and short circuit.
